Uploading files: what to know

Not sure which file to upload? Here are just a few points to keep in mind to help us ensure you’ll love the finished product:

  • We ask that you please upload .ai, PDF or EPS files. A file name ending with .ai means that it was created in Adobe Illustrator software; PDF and EPS files are universal file types, able to be opened in most design software.

These files are preferred because they can be resized without destroying or altering the quality of the artwork. In other words, your finished product will look great if you provide one of these files. Your logo designer should have supplied you with one, if not all, of these file types.

  • We can accept high-resolution (300 dpi minimum) TIF, PNG, or JPG file formats, but it is very important that these types of files are high resolution for editing purposes. If low-resolution files are submitted and art must be redrawn, there will be an additional fee. Be aware that art, such as JPG or PNG files, from websites is usually too low in resolution to use for printing.
  • One last thing – when uploading your logo or other art, please use the original file. We can’t use a file placed into a Microsoft Word or layout document.
